Is a twin size mattress big enough for adults?
We don’t recommend a twin size mattress for adults. The narrow width and shorter length (when compared to other mattress sizes) will make most adults feel a bit cramped. We’d recommend a queen size mattress or, if space allows, a king size.
Twin XL
What are the dimensions of a twin XL mattress?
A twin XL mattress is 39”W x 80”L, which is five inches longer than a standard twin mattress, and the same length as a king or queen.
Will a twin XL mattress fit a daybed?
Most daybeds are sized for a standard twin mattress. However, some daybeds are specially sized for twin XL. Always verify your daybed’s dimensions before ordering a mattress.
